The Roof Terrace Restaurant at the Kennedy Center rings in the New Year with a special four-course dinner menu, complimentary sparkling wine and live jazz music by Potomac Jazz Project. In addition, each patron will receive a complimentary admission ticket to the Kennedy Center’s renowned Grand Foyer celebration. After dinner, guests can take advantage of the Kennedy Center’s upper terrace for the best view of Washington. The special New Year’s Eve dinner will have staggered seating times starting at 5:00 p.m. and is priced at $95 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. The Roof Terrace Restaurant's Chef de Cuisine Vatche Benguian and Executive Chef Joe Gurner offer innovative adaptations of classic dishes using seasonal ingredients that showcase global flavors and accentuate traditional French techniques. Guests can opt for either the three-course pix fixe menu or a la carte dining in the dramatic deco-inspired dining room, complete with soaring ceilings and alabaster columns of light.
